TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Plan Overview: The Om Pragati (“Plan”) offered by Om Jewellers Private Limited (“Company”) enables customers to purchase jewellery through Equated Monthly Installments (EMI) over nine (9) months, with discounts available at the end of the term, subject to the terms and conditions.
  2. Eligibility: Only individuals may enroll. Enrollment is not permitted for entities such as companies, partnership firms, trusts, HUFs, or NRIs. Minors may enroll through natural guardians.
  3. Enrollment Process: Customers can enroll themselves at any Om Jewellers Store, or can also avail the plan on the Plus Gold app. The Pragati Enrolment Form must be signed, accepting these terms and conditions.
  4. Documentation: Customers must provide a copy of a photo ID, address proof (e.g., Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card) and bank account details at enrollment. Customers should especially ensure that their name is as per their identity proof and inform the company of changes in contact or address details (if any).
  5. Verification: The Company reserves the right to verify customer identity and document authenticity by means of SMS or OTP generation at the time of enrolment and at the time of purchase.
  6. EMI Payment Schedule: Customers are required to pay nine (9) monthly installments of a minimum of Rs. 3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand) each. Only one installment per month will be accepted.
  7. Due Dates and Grace Period: Date of payment of the first installment is known as the Enrolment date. Installments are due on the Enrolment Date each month, with a grace period of seven (7) days.
  8. Plan Maturity: The Plan matures after nine (9) months completion from the Enrolment Date i.e. the date of the first installment payment. Customers must redeem the amount by purchasing jewellery from any Om Jeweller’s store/branch before the completion of the 10th month i.e. 300 days.
  9. Redemption: The redemption is applicable only to jewellery items available at Om Jewellers store, and excludes Gold Bars and Coins. This benefit is in addition to any prevailing discounts, if any.
  10. Pre-Closure Option: Customers may terminate the Plan after paying a minimum of six (6) installments and completing 180 days from the Enrolment Date. In the event of premature termination, customers will only be entitled to the accumulated amount paid up to the point of termination. In extreme cases, refunds of the paid installments may be approved by management.
  11. Non-Redemption Refunds: If the customer does not redeem within 300 days of the enrollment date, the paid installments will be refunded as a discount voucher, usable for jewellery purchases of equal or greater value at any Om Jewellers store. 
  12. Updating Information: Customers must immediately inform the CRO or Store Managers of any changes in contact or address details. The name must match the identity proof provided, and all provided details must be accurate.
  13. Payment Methods: Payments may be made by cash, credit/debit cards, NEFT/RTGS, local cheques, Automated Clearing House (ACH), or Standing Instruction (SI). International cards are not accepted. Cheque dishonour charges will be borne by the Customer. The Company is not responsible for sending payment reminders.
  14. Receipt Issuance: Receipts for ACH or SI payments will be issued upon clearance. ACH/SI accounts cannot be closed before maturity unless the Customer cancels the ACH/SI by submitting the required forms. A computerised receipt may be requested at any Om Jewellers store/branch.
  15. Account Transfer: Accounts are transferable between any of our store locations, provided the identity of the account holder is verified.
  16. Nominee Appointment: Customers may appoint a nominee at enrollment. In case of the Customer’s death, the nominee must provide identity and address proof to claim the amount. If no nominee is appointed, legal heirs must provide a death certificate, succession certificate, NOC from other heirs, indemnity undertaking, and will (if applicable) to claim the amount.
  17. Purchase Policy: At purchase, the Customer must personally present a valid photo ID and PAN Card, as it is required by law to redeem installments paid. Jewellery purchases must be equal or higher in value than the total installment amount paid. Partial purchases are not allowed.
  18. Other Charges: All jewellery purchases under the Pragati Plan will be subject to making charges, wastage charges, material charges, GST, or any other applicable surcharges.
  19. Plan Modifications: The Company reserves the right to alter, amend, add, or delete parts of the Plan without prior notice, provided changes are not detrimental to customers. The Company’s decisions are final and irrevocable.
  20. Plan Suspension: The Company may suspend the Plan at any time. In such cases, customers may purchase items equivalent to the accumulated value in their Pragati account.
  21. Company Liability: The Company’s liability under the Pragati Plan is limited to the installments paid and applicable discounts. No other warranties or assurances are provided.
  22. Legal Compliance: The Company reserves the right to modify, change, suspend, or discontinue the Plan in compliance with changes in laws, rules, or regulations by regulatory authorities. 
  23. Jurisdiction: Disputes are subject to the Courts in Mumbai jurisdiction only.
